I set him down at the water's edge. He sat there for a few seconds, looking understandably suspicious of this entire arrangement, then slipped quietly into the water and disappeared beneath a submerged leaf. No dramatic goodbye. No lingering glance.

This little fellow never got a proper introduction back in December because he arrived immediately after Stuckleberry Finn, who, in true porcupine fashion, rolled in and stole all the attention. Porcupines. No concept of sharing the spotlight. 😏

Grasshopper would like everyone to know that this red ball had it coming.

@FourwandsW I love squirrels. Why are they just showing up on my feed? Yesterday, we had our first black/brown squirrel in the yard. It is cool!
