In the end, playing in the First Four made for one hell of a moment for Miami.
A more easily beatable opponent, a perfect storm environment and a standalone audience to see their legitimacy.
None of that can be taken away no matter what happens in the main draw.

Didn't lose a regular season game. Should have never had to play a game in Dayton. Took advantage anyway in an awesome environment and beat a power-conference team by double digits. Lifetime memory for that fan base. Miami is legitimized, tonight and forever.
