Congratulations to Fox lab postdoc Archan Chakraborty @archan24 - he will be starting his own lab at @AUG_University this fall! Professor Chakraborty's lab will focus on polyploidy in the heart of flies and humans.

The lab had a fantastic time at the @Duke_PCB retreat at Wrightsville Beach. Jane gave an awesome talk and was recognized for her recent first-author paper, and all other trainees gave posters (Archan won a prize for best poster).

Must be award season- congratulations to lab alum Dr Erez Cohen for winning the best postdoc at U Michigan! So proud of our lab’s alumni.

Before starting her own lab at U Memphis in 2026, lab alum Dr Heidi Bretscher wins the award for best postdoc at U Minnesota! The award is named for her mentor, Dr Mike O’Connor. Congrats Heidi!!!!!
