@NatchuralOne In retail, you're made to feel bad for taking time off for physical ailments too - I think this is an "American work ethic" thing - we've been trained from the start to feel bad if we take days off at all. You get major bonus feel-bad-points for having an invisible ailment tho.

Why do we live in such a culture where taking care of yourself mentally breeds such shame and guilt? If I was recovering from a physical injury I wouldn’t think twice. Brains aren’t the best sometimes. Send pretty dice pictures.
