JOINT MARITIME INTELLIGENCE BASED OPERATION BY PN, PMSA, JMICC & ANF (SINDH) IN THE ARABIAN SEA Karachi, Pakistan - Monday, 13 April 2026: A successful intelligence based Maritime Interdiction Operation was conducted in the Arabian Sea, resulting in the interception of a stateless vessel carrying a large quantity of illicit liquor concealed onboard valued at PKR 200 million(USD 717,000). The operation was carried out through a coordinated effort by the Pakistan Navy (PN), Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA), Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre (JMICC) and Anti Narcotics Force (ANF-Sindh) demonstrating effective inter-agency collaboration and operational synergy. The success of the operation was enabled by timely intelligence sharing, real-time coordination and seamless execution by the participating agencies. The seized contraband, with an estimated international market value of over PKR 200 million(USD 717,000), represents a major disruption to smuggling networks operating in the region. The confiscated items have been formally handed over to ANF (Sindh) for further investigation and legal proceedings.
