Juniper tree class have enjoyed their sports day today. They enjoyed throwing the javelin, bean bag throwing and racing.

Today in Juniper class they had to create a mood board based on an inspirational artist.The children enjoyed cutting the different art work and using different colours to extend the art work.

Oana is enjoying doing her phonics revision outside. She can not wait to showcase her knowledge of her phonics in next weeks phonics screening.

Today in music the children enjoyed using musical instruments to play wonderful music. They did really well, they could sing and play at the same time!

Today we all enjoyed making our final outcome for DT. The children enjoyed cutting the different materials and then using their weaving techniques to create a blanket.

We are so proud of Eva , she is using her fingers to count to 10.

The children were excited to learn the difference between birds and reptiles in their science lesson.They looked at the pictures and had a discussion about the different features.

Juniper tree class are enjoying using different resources to make equal groups to help them problem solve.

Juniper tree enjoyed their Maths lesson today.They used hoops and cones to represent equal and unequal groups. The children were able to explain the difference between the two and verbally explain it to their partners.

Today year 1 are enjoying their new Design and Technology topic- weaving! They practiced to weave a simple pattern today. They all did so well.

Children are making prediction on what they think their core text might be about!They found some flippers,snorkels, goggles and much much more.

Competition time ! Juniper class are having a competition to see who can grow the tallest Sunflower! Children are encouraged to send pictures of their Sunflowers and the tallest Sunflower will win a prize

Today children were having fun measuring objects using a ruler. They had to make sure that they aligned the ruler straight with the objects.

The children enjoyed paying ‘cops and robbers’ when they were asked to find out what makes a good friend! They had the opportunity to steal an idea from their friend.

As part of Reading Week Poppie made a Book in a Box. She worked really hard at home and made sure she included all the characters in the book. Well done!

The children were amazed how the puppets worked!

Year 1 had a fantastic morning watching The Punch and Judy Show. They enjoyed watching the Puppets telling them a story.
