This is Kareem, 7 years old.
My colleague Ahmed asks him, "What are you writing on your hand?" Kareem replies, "My name."
Ahmed asks, "Why?" Kareem answers, "So that if Israel bombs me, they will know my name."
Kareem cries.
Ahmed asks him why? Kareem says, "I miss my sister who lives in northern Gaza."
Kareem was forced to flee towards southern Gaza.

Wrote this like it was the most foreign thing in the world, and then it turns out the man beside is from the Gaeltacht of Kerry and now we’re just having pints through Irish like it’s Dingle.

Now watching the Arsenal game, as it was meant to be seen, with no sound, on the rightmost of three giant screens, in a sports bar in a casino.
