@SudhanidhiB Is there any advantage by delaying the candidate list declaration. I think it has already been decided or at least should have been decided by now.

One of the most deserving candidate from Panihati would be Joy Saha. The young BJYM face who kept the BJP Org alive there. But yes, BJP is also aware of the wishes of the RG Kar Victim's Mother to contest elections. Party won't rush, the final list will come out a bit later. Joy had even met the family yesterday to assure support.

I'M GOING FOR A CAPTAIN PICK THAT COULD GO BIG IN GAMEWEEK 30 🚨⚠️ Very few times you get the opportunity to captain a MID who has terrific Underlying data, plays an advanced role, coming off the back of a 1.2 xGI game AND takes penalties AND plays Burnley. Tavernier (C) is my GW 30 captain - it's a very obvious Captaincy opportunity that I cannot say no to. Salah will be my VC. Midway through #UCLFantasy R16 – 1st Leg A matchday that reminds us this game is often decided by the smallest details. For example, Olise instead of Gordon in my team would have me sitting somewhere around 3k OR right now with plenty to go. A perfect illustration of something we all learn in this game: Sometimes you win. Sometimes you learn. Congrats to everyone who landed the Olise + Julián tandem; massive hauls there and likely some very nice green arrows. A bit of consolation for us who own one of the two, and some darker arrows for those who unfortunately missed both. Defensively, it was also a good reminder of how unpredictable clean sheets can be. The only CS of the night came from Galatasaray… who would have called that beforehand? Exactly why I mentioned in my preview that I try not to overthink that aspect too much; it’s one of the hardest events in football to predict. Barcelona also left St James’ Park much more alive than they probably deserved, largely thanks to some poor decision-making from Newcastle’s forwards. The tie is still open, but Yamal’s penalty certainly tilts things slightly in Barça’s favor heading into the second leg. Captaincy-wise, I’m currently keeping the armband on Yamal. My planned substitutions are fairly straightforward: 🔁 Oblak 🔁 Gordon 🔁 Raphinha 🔁 Kane ➡️ Raya ➡️ Gabriel ➡️ Timber ➡️ Saka Captaincy wise my go-to options for today would be: 🥇 Haaland 🥈 Vini 🥉 Saka How is everyone looking so far? @FpLdeep I typically try to go with 8/7 or 9/6 balance Day1/Day2. Then the amount of player you have from each part of the draw is not THAT relevant for me.

The Round of 16 is, somehow, about prediction. - 3 transfers between legs. - 5 before the Quarter Finals. In theory, 8 FTs should be enough to navigate surprises. In practice, if you misread 2–3 series badly, you’ll feel it. You don’t need to be perfect. But you do need a hypothesis. @joaquin_roth Hi. It's again a very nice insight. I want to know whether any balance should be maintained regarding numbers of players picked from both side of the draw. Currently have 10 from Arsenal/Barca side and 5 from Madrid/Bayern side.

I will continue saying this matchday after matchday. I’m also aware that the common format nowadays is something quicker and easier to scan: a few names, a quick draft, and that’s it. These threads tend to be longer and more reflective by nature, which I know isn’t always the easiest format to digest. But that’s also the style I enjoy writing and discussing the game in. FPL MANAGERS BOOKMARK THIS 🚨⚠️ My honest assessment of the Erling Haaland situation for our #FPL teams. - Haaland hasn't featured in any of the recent @ManCity Man City #MCI training pictures. - His recent Snapchat stories have all been indoor pics, of what looked like: 1) his home 2) the rehab centre (the one he posted wishing Khusanov a happy birthday 3) airport pic (maybe travelled to see a specialist? 4) his latest picture is basically him dressed in casuals, what looks like him arriving back to the club - Pep has been surprisingly tight lipped about the whole situation, with the Spaniard completely refusing to give any details about the injury - Not suggesting that the above is ominous or anything, but it could be simply because Guardiola is unsure about the timeline of his return - Now let's look at Manchester City's upcoming schedule: NFO (H), Newcastle (FA Cup) and Real Madrid (A) coming up in the next week. That's 3 games in almost a day. Now accounting for Haaland coming back from back to back knocks (remember he picked up a knock vs Fulham too), it seems unlikely he'll be risked vs NFO. Then comes the Newcastle game which is pretty irrelevant from an FPL pov. Then the big one for City (RMA away). You'd imagine Haaland plays that and sits out the next relevant fixture for the #FPLCommunity i.e. Man City vs West Ham sandwiched between the two Real Madrid ties. - Next up we have Gameweek 31 when Haaland has a blank GW anyway... - After the Blank GW 31, City play Chelsea in 32, followed by a potential Double in GW33. The 2 weeks IB also gives you enough time to assess and maybe use the Chelsea game as an audition if you want Haaland back in 33. Verdict: SELL
