I have decided I won’t be playing FPL this year! Having set up my first team on the day it went live, I haven’t thought about FPL. So much going on with other projects and my Twitch channel that I can’t dedicate as much time to FPL as I’d want to. It’s the last thing on my mind.

Maybe next season I’ll be back, but for now I just can’t get into FPL! Good luck to everyone this season and may your arrows all be green!! 📈

My latest draft. 1 mil ITB to allow for the usual early season dramatic transfers. Would like to squeeze Cancelo in here and I’m not convinced on triple Arsenal 😅

@FplBeckford There’s decent value in every position though. Historically midfielders and attackers offer the best chance of consistent returns. I get the point though

@FplSalty My point is that with the value available I’ll probably be starting on a strong back 4 (or possibly even 5), and I would have Williams as my 5th defender in that context

Number of times I had to use my 3rd sub in a non-BGW last season: Zero Thinking of getting Nico Williams and another 4.0 DEF as 3rd sub bench fodder 🧐

@FplBeckford Williams would likely be my 2nd sub in this situation. First port of call if one of the starting 3 DEFs doesn’t play. Looks like he’ll be a regular for Forest so a decent player to have come in if needed.

@FplVester Good point, if he gets 90 mins then he’s a good choice for the money. His npxGI for the games/minutes he played last season does stand out

@FplSalty He is a 5.5m that has averaged 0.41 xGI during his time at Wolves, who is expected to start in one of the teams with the best fixtures the first 6 GWs. If you find me another 5.5m mid with better stats & fixtures, who is expected to be a regular starter and I’ll happily switch😀

Why is Neto in so many peoples drafts?

@elliottvinnie1 It’s a fair theory for sure. Does seem very odd, there are a handful of other players I might look at in that 5.0-5.5 bracket before going Neto I think

@FplSalty I’m guessing because his last full season he was decent with 5 goals and 6 assists think he missed most of last season with injury
