The effect would work by performing displacement interpolation on a source inputs audio spectrum, so that pitches in one signal slide to the nearest pitches of the other as an interpolation parameter. This would be called portomento sidechaining.

Plugin idea : transition one sound into another by grabbing all the frequencies from the input and gliding them into the nearest corresponding frequencies of the source with an ADSR crossfade. You would have to reach threshold from sidechain to trigger it.

@airwingmarine Oh 100% same. Haven’t played the update yet other than 1 labs run but worried they may have turbo-boosted keycard spawns. The sweet-spot from 2019 was just a much higher chance of finding cases or keycards in marked. With keycards still rare. The possibility itself was exciting.

@FpsAllstar When you could get keycards in wallets or docs cases, as well as the occasional big case, was the best marked room experiences I've ever had.
