@alexandrite105 Another simple reason that being very late for Sunday Mass is not necessarily a sin: you might be able to catch the next Mass and fulfill your Sunday obligation! In which case, no sin has been incurred, and the Church does not forbid reception of communion at first Mass.
English

@alexandrite105 ...thus receiving communion can be possible, even at the last minute, though certainly not ideal as I mentioned on air.
English

@FrMatthewOSJ regarding the topic of going to Mass vs. receiving Communion, it sounds like you're saying though that it's ok to receive Communion in a state of mortal sin should someone get to a Sunday Mass so late they've effectively missed Mass and just barely make Communion
English

@alexandrite105 We were not talking about Sunday obligation, we were talking about the requirements for receiving communion at Mass...you can go back and listen to the conversation at relevantradio.com/patrick
English

@FrMatthewOSJ Patrick Madrid has stayed on air that there is a cut off to be considered having made your Sunday obligation (and it's not just barely making it in the door for Communion) so this is very confusing; although for a weekday Mass I completely agree with you.

@servantofBene This is one of our back end tools for Square Note, as we try to compile audio recordings of chant.
Matches about 95% of the notes correctly, and the ones it can't confidently align to a sample, it interpolates their position relative to its neighbors.
