This is little Benson, born prematurely at 22 weeks. Where's the clump of cells they're talking about?

Marriage is between 1 man & 1 woman, committed for life & open to children. Attempts to redefine marriage fail to change this reality. If an element of the above definition is altered then no marriage exists no matter what words are used. Living a fiction is unhealthy.

When you ask the Church for the Sacraments, don’t hold it against the Church when the Church asks you to live the sacramental life. For the Church isn’t rejecting you but in fact respecting you, offering you what your soul really wants, really needs—a real shot at holiness.

@FrPlant I would seriously like to discuss this "more religious persecution" angle with you. I don't much care about anyone who tweets negative comments at me... Are you willing to discuss it?

@FrPlant @Pyro8933 How many times have you been forced by the state to officiate a heterosexual wedding for two individuals who aren’t Catholic or who are Catholic and divorced without annulments?

@greg7190 @Pyro8933 The power of SCOTUS is limited (as it should be). I believe the shift will happen through legislation and executive order.

@FrPlant @Pyro8933 The Christian SCOTUS majority is likely to last a few decades, so any persecution here will remain imaginary for a long time, long after the rest of the world has moved on.

@FrPlant @Pyro8933 The persecution won't happen so long as right wing Christians hold so much political and legal power. Do you really think in a country where the Supreme Court is dominated by conservative Catholics the church is going to be forced into doing gay marriage?
