AKATHIST SATURDAY. In the Akathist we meditate and pray about the privileges, role and graces of the Mother of God in our salvation. As we do so, we realize the power of Her intercession and protection.

Arcivescovo Carlo Maria Vigano: "I see myself condemned to a "spiritual death penalty," deprived of the Sacraments and supposedly destined for eternal damnation ... I felt it my duty to write to Leo and request an audience.": x.com/CarloMVigano/s…
Arcivescovo Carlo Maria Viganò@CarloMVigano

AURES HABENT ET NON AUDIUNT “I listen to everyone!” youtu.be/ok0eZ2L7xqM I would have expected Leo, following the example of the Good Shepherd, to come looking for the lost sheep and bring it back to the fold from which his predecessor had expelled it. This did not happen. Although I am convinced that my “excommunication” is an unjust and evil action that for this reason had not actual juridical effect, I cannot help but point out that it constitutes, for those who inflicted it on me, a sort of aquae et ignis interdictio, the penalty in ancient Roman law equivalent to a form of perpetual exile, which required the condemned person to abandon Roman territory, with a prohibition against anyone providing him with water, fire, or any form of assistance, including hospitality or shelter, under penalty of severe punishment. In practice, this made the condemned an outlaw, depriving him of the essentials of survival and isolating him from society. And so, in defiance of the fine words about welcome and inclusiveness, I see myself condemned to a “spiritual death penalty,” deprived of the Sacraments and supposedly destined for eternal damnation. For Bergoglio and Prevost, capital punishment, which kills only the body, would be inadmissible, but excommunication, which kills the soul and condemns it to eternal death, is permissible. For this reason, wanting to leave no stone unturned, I felt it my duty to write to Leo and request an audience. Here is the chronology of the entire affair: - On June 4, 2025, I sent a personal letter of extremely sensitive content via the Vatican Post, in which I also requested an audience. - On August 28, 2025, having received no response to my previous letter, I resubmitted my request to be received in a private audience with Leo, through the Prefecture of the Pontifical Household, by sending an email to the Regent, Msgr. Leonardo Sapienza. - On September 20, 2025, I received a reply from Msgr. Sapienza, confirming that the audience had been granted, and that it was scheduled for December 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Library of the Apostolic Palace. - On December 9, 2025, at 8:08 a.m., two days before the meeting, Msgr. Sapienza informed me by an email that the audience had been canceled. - However, less than two hours later, at 9:53 a.m., the Secretariat of the Prefecture of the Pontifical Household forwarded me the ticket for the audience. - Shortly thereafter, at 10:14 a.m., the same Secretariat informed me that the audience had been canceled. - Following these contradictory communications, I called Msgr. Sapienza to understand the reason for the cancellation. Ostensibly embarrassed, he offered unbelievable excuses but assured me that he would communicate a new date as soon as possible, quoting Leo’s words: “We have to reschedule the audience: I listen to everyone!” 1/2

FOURTH SUNDAY OF LENT, of St. John Climacus (525-605), the saintly abbot of a monastery on Mount Sinai. He became an "angel" in human flesh through fasting and prayer. In following his example the faithful can attain a high degree of Christian perfection.

St. Matthew 25, 41-46 describes what those indifferent will hear on the day of the Last Judgment. If you can't help with action, at least pray, but don't be indifferent.

During merciless wars that cause severe suffering on hundreds of millions (or billions) of civilians around the world, Catholics who pretend nothing is happening at least demonstrate indifference to the suffering of others.

If Christ wanted His Church to die, then He would commanded Peter 'Poison My lambs and My sheep.' But Christ commanded Peter "Feed My lambs, feed My sheep" as He wanted Peter to provide His Church with healthy food to keep Her alive in this world & to lead Her into heavenly life.

The Byzantine Rite calendar does not have a feast day honoring Saint Patrick, the Apostle of Ireland. However, interestingly, the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) in 2017 added Saint Patrick to its calendar on March 30 as "Venerable Patrick, enlightener of Ireland."

3rd SUNDAY OF LENT. Adoration of the holy Cross. "If any man will follow me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel, shall save it." St Mark 8, 34-35

Priests have no right to call for the destruction of any state, since this is achieved through wars and revolutions. If they do so, they are calling for voluntary murder, which is equal to the sin of voluntary murder itself, which incurs the wrath of God.

Actually, calls by some self-appointed "theologians" like "This or that state has no biblical right to exist" give them a pretext to fight brutally for their very existence. Calls to burn them to the ground for not accepting Jesus have no biblical basis.

@Patriotforheavn I don't know them personally, but from what's available on their YouTube, there are a lot of very strange things, for example, the promotion of Kremlin Lenin worshipers and the like. That's very unusual for Catholics.

The Davis family podcast not only dared to presume what was supposedly the lesser of two evils , but then gaslighted and calumniated anyone that disagreed with them. They were fairly warned by good Catholics about their “opinions “ and were warned about Trump , and all that has now transpired; including war with Iran which we all knew was coming under the predator -president of USA - pawn of Israel. Logic demands that if one is going to determine there is a “lesser of two evils “ , then it follows that there could be a point where the lesser of two evils is the more evil because we can’t be sure of the future. The Davis clan isn’t smart enough for a serious discussion , they’ve been too busy comprising any chance they get. They arrogantly designated themselves as prophets and have been exposed as simple fraud casters looking for clicks.

Be very prudent when choosing a lesser evil, as it can grow beyond a greater evil and lead to disastrous consequences not only for you and your loved ones, but for the entire world. Pray, and do penance.

SECOND SUNDAY OF LENT is called "Sunday of the palsied Man." Men must repent, as Christ cannot heal our soul if we do not repent for having offended God by our iniquities. The Church leads us in pious exercises of prayer and fasting because our weakness can be healed by them.

It is a great relief and a blessing during merciless wars to pray in the Shrine of Our Lady of Knock. Some modernist elements disattract, but they cannot diminish the presence of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Lamb of God in that place and in the soul:
