@TFTC_TRB @netlogo At higher densities one can see really well how the voids- absence of a vehicle shown as black pixels- travel upstream in the NW direction These voids act like interacting particles, describing random paths. These paths become deterministic when the probability of rerouting = 1

The case probability of rerouting = 1 might be suggesting a new type of control strategy. Notice the speed increase as a result of persistent crossing patterns.
