@cerny @jackhuynh @AMD Please, use this technology for generic performance/resolution enhancement of #PSVR2 games. Could this work in combination of eye tracking foveated rendering on any lower resolution game?

Just tried FSR Upscaling 4.1 in a few PC games. It’s based on the same neural network as the upgraded PSSR we released for PS5 Pro… and it looks stunning! Wonderful working with @jackhuynh and the @AMD team as we collaborate on AI graphics tech. Big win for Project Amethyst :-)

@DonaldPMitchell Agree. The shouting anti-AI mob minority can’t realize this is just beginning and the models are getting better. The game industry is already counting on this technology. For me as a big fan of VR this is another step to narrow the performance gap between flat and 3d rendering.

NVIDIA DLSS 5 is getting mocked, but I think this is the future direction for game realism. Basic rendering of the game animation, and then AI enhancement. Decades of SIGGRAPH research out the window? Maybe. This is a completely different path to photorealism.

@BRobo82 Back in the 8bit gaming era this was not only artistic vision.We enjoyed the games and pretend they look like that art in our imagination! Technical part was not as important as today. Every now and then I stop in 4k VR world and just think how we take such beauty as granted.

This is one of the best examples of artistic vision vs. a real game that is so heavily dependent on technology.

That's how I 'memorize' my in-game codes. It's much faster than scrolling through audiologs or other stuff in-game.

@Fractalus9 Separation never made a profit so I can't afford to update or port it. Also, I've got cancer, which makes it hard to even think about game dev most of the time.
