In previous tournaments, we repeatedly encountered major connection issues because server IPs were blocked, preventing players from connecting. This already led to competitive disadvantages and affected the integrity of the competition. Leaving the Open Qualifiers aside for a moment, we want to avoid having to make decisions during a league phase that could impact the standings simply because players, for whatever reason, are unable to join the servers. Unfortunately, it is also clear that VPN solutions are not consistently reliable. Banking restrictions. As a German organization, we are unable to make payments to Russia or to individuals residing in Russia. These are political and regulatory restrictions that we cannot simply ignore or circumvent. That said, we will discuss the matter internally once again and evaluate whether there are alternative solutions available.
