Timothée being misunderstood on the internet inspired a whole “we care” movement in your industry. You wouldn’t have come up with that on your own. Go ahead and pretend it’s not true that many people in these fields have been fighting for years to keep their art alive against many different pressures. Pretend you don’t know that a lot of people in fact do not care about it. Pretend ballet and opera haven’t slowly become niche spaces mostly attended by wealthy or very culturally connected audiences. Timmy grew up surrounded by ballet and art. His own family has deep ties to it. He has spent his life working in art respecting it defending it and trying to bring it to wider audiences. All of a sudden everyone is acting like he doesn’t care about it when just a few days ago he was talking about how inspired he has been by ballet for the scenes of his last movie. This is insane and so unfair.
