Pretty clear that we are witnessing the worst presidential debate on style and substance in the history of our nation tonight.

In 1960, JFK was 43 and Nixon 47! I’m not ageist, but this debate and the choice it represents between two feeble and broadly unpopular candidates is an indictment of a failed political culture and the two-party system.

(8/) Conclusions: Illicit stimulant misuse continues to be more common in men than in women; however, gender differences are more modest for prescription stimulant misuse, suggesting a narrowing of this historical gender difference.

Academic friends, I’m begging you to please not refer to a graduate student as a “girl” in your letters of recommendation. Unless you’re working with child, she’s not a girl! It’s infantilizing. Instead you can use terms like student, candidate, colleague, or just ‘person’ 🤷🏽‍♀️

And the violence doesn’t even stop outside home country borders/waters. Forcibly displaced people are harmed and/or killed by militarized borders or the structural violence within resettlement countries all over the world (e.g., Southern U.S. and EU borders). It’s disgusting.
