I agree that there are clearly parallels and connections between the Russian aggression against Ukraine and the current takedown of the Iranian theocracy. There was a tight link between Russia and Iran which only strengthened both countries. Did the Russian attack of Ukraine "light the match" for the current actions against Iran (?) - I do not think so as Iran has and continued to pose a major threat to the world with its twisted thought processes and past/present illicit and unethical activities and murders.
