@Franco_5_ So he is 3 years younger and May also only has a year left on his contract. I share your frustration selling a proven goalscorer but if Jones ends up sitting him out because he doesn’t feel May does what he wants his forwards to do then thats no good either way too.

All this: "He's nearly 31" "750k is good business" "Not a Jones type striker" Is a coping strategy. Like when you get dumped by a woman you love & you tell your mates, "she wasn't for me anyway." I see no positives in selling the best striker in L1 to a promotion rival. #cafc

@Jimmyyy_____ It's all hearsay unless Jones comes out and says that himself. If he does then I'll swallow it, and Jones can own the decision to sell the best goalscorer in L1. It's as simple as that for me. 20+ goals a season strikers don't grow on trees.

@Franco_5_ May 1.5M to Godden let’s say cost 250k at the most. Godden gets 15 goal in L1. That loses us arguably 5-10 goals a season but we get get an extra Mil and a bit to upgrade the rest of the starting XI makes sense in my eyes
