@Pastrsb3Jc @nobleisawinner While most founders were Christians, they specifically set up the separation of church and state in the First Amendment. That separation protects both. Otherwise, we're headed toward being a Christian version of Iran, which will bring misery for Christian & non-Christian alike.

It was founded on Christian principles, biblical values, and most of the founding fathers were Christians. The first folks who built this nation were escaping death for their Christian beliefs which were different from the establishment. Here they could be free to worship and interpret the scriptures meaning to what it actually said, not by power hungry folks who put their own meaning to the scriptures for control and manipulation because so many couldnt read or own a Bible.
