@SpookAsia But I still enjoyed the movie a lot. Def different and still pretty creative in the way they added some story to a game that had none. I'd prob rate it the same as you or an 8/10. I guess 7.5. Lol

@SpookAsia And the MC got out of that loop, drank some water, and was kinda just fine? I feel like after leaving that crazy purgatory you would kinda collapse and sit down somewhere and think about everything you've just been through.

"Exit 8" — It's been a while since I was this excited for a movie. I never played or watched the game, so I can't really compare it to that, but I've heard it's pretty faithful.
I did know the premise going in, though, and it's exactly my kind of thing. I like loop-style horror, especially when there's room for different interpretations about what's actually happening and how it ends. This one definitely leans into that.
That said, a few scenes were frustrating. The kind where something bad is obviously about to happen, the characters know it too, and they still just stand there waiting for it. Like bro, run. 🤦🏽♀️ That only happens a couple times, so it didn't ruin the movie, but I absolutely did not like it when it did. Ain't nobody got time for that. 🤦🏽♀️
Overall, I'd say it's worth watching at least once. I'd give it a 7/10. You can tell there's some filler to stretch the runtime (besides the standing and gawking). In a way, it works since it adds to the claustrophobic feeling and the tension of being stuck in a loop, but I think they could've handled some of that differently too.
Anyway, it's not for people who don't like slow-type of horror though. I like them. And if you do too, I think it's worth giving a try.

I finally tried the cola and peanuts thing that's been trending on Japanese and American Twitter. I've never tried it before since I rarely drink soda, rarely eat peanuts, and I'm from California. 😂
But since I already had cola on hand, I thought I might as well buy some peanuts too. This is a more retro-style cola though, but if anything, the old-school cola actually feels more fitting. 🤔
From what I know of, this tradition is more of a Southern thing? But I always feel like Southern people really do know what they're doing when it comes to food and treats. It's simple and works.

@SpookAsia And add some nuts to top it off for some extra pizazz! Was that a nut or a tooth you just swallowed? Who cares?! This ish is delish.
