There’s been a ton of noise lately about the refereeing in this league, especially with the way Sporting seems to be getting every call their way and honestly, the influence the Sporting president has over the league right now is something we can't ignore. It feels like the pressure is on Porto to win every single match just to stay ahead of that noise. Porto has been an absolute force at home, and even if they rotate some players to stay fresh for Europe, they have way too much offensive depth to drop points here. Famalicão has been the "draw kings" lately, but they’ve struggled to actually finish games. Given that Porto dominated the reverse fixtures this season with 1-0 and 4-1 wins, I don't see them losing at home in front of their own fans. I’m locking in Porto or Draw (Double Chance) with Over 1.5 Goals because their attack is just too clinical to be held back. To complete this double, we’re heading to France for the massive Derby du Nord between Lille and Lens. This is a true heavyweight clash with Lens sitting in 2nd place, desperately trying to keep the pressure on PSG, while Lille is in 5th and fighting for their life for a Champions League spot. These two teams have a genuine rivalry, and the intensity is always dialed up to eleven. When you look at the recent trends, these matchups are almost guaranteed for goals, Lens has seen at least two goals in the vast majority of their recent matches, and Lille’s offensive style at home always leaves them open for counter-attacks. Lens already proved they can find the net against Lille with that 3-0 win earlier this season, and with both teams needing maximum points to stay in their respective races, nobody is going to be sitting back and defending a nil nil draw.
