The zoning argument against Atiku may sound sharp, but Nigerians are not suffering because of zoning. They are suffering because leadership has failed. In 2027, the real question is not North or South alone. It is who can fix hunger, insecurity, jobs, power, inflation and national trust. Zoning can guide politics, but it cannot replace competence. Should Nigerians vote in 2027 based mainly on zoning, or based on competence, performance and the ability to rescue the country?

Ndi-Igbo will not put their lives on the line to defend the votes of a man who is visibly afraid of facing political primaries. God forbid. True leadership demands courage. A genuine leader must demonstrate that he is willing to stand with his people, even at great personal risk that he is ready to die for them if necessary. Unfortunately, Peter Obi has repeatedly shown that he does not possess this essential quality. Ndi-Igbo have seen enough. They are wiser now.
