Also some people have very different views on how many years "youthful" mean so it can lead to misunderstandings.

@KaiserVerm_ Summer Time isn't that good to begin with. It surpasses Re: Zero only because the concept of returning from death is better, nothing more. As for characters, depth, and so on, there isn't a significant difference between them.

@Fraudwatch99 Yea 100% if you’re someone who doesn’t want to deal with morally questionable chars, a plot that requires you to be immensely patient before it’s payoffs, and a time loop mechanic that is explored and utilized in ways that make you question the sanity of the author writing it

It’s phenomenal & better than a lot of anime I’ve seen but when you compare it to Re:Zero it gets tricky because it feels like Re:Zero if the characters, plot, and time loop mechanics were filtered to appeal to an audience that doesn’t like problematic story elements

@KaiserVerm_ No. I'm an Evangelion fan. I have no problem with anything you mentioned. Compare Evangelion's character development with Re: Zero and you'll see a huge difference. Evangelion was far superior in every way.
