God bless Thomas Massie. He walks out of this with his honor intact. He’s a patriot & kept his integrity. As long as the voters give their votes to whoever can run the most ads we will have politicians who are purchased by foreign governments & corporate interests.

What we’ve learned about precedent in the last few years is it doesn’t mean anything. All these decisions based on fake laws will need to be repealed.

For whatever criticisms people have of Massie (and Lord knows there are many), he took his beating by Trump like a man. Unlike Cassidy or Cornyn, who contorted themselves to win a primary or even Tillis, who threw in the towel.

Remember: it was like pulling teeth to get Republicans to fund the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund.
But it took them no time at all to create a $1.8 billion Insurrection Slush Fund to pay off the legal fees of the January 6th rioters who beat cops.
