That's it, I'm done. Been checking out that place with blue skies, and that's what I need to be part of! Starter Packs make finding folks easy, I'm there under the same handle as here. Will continue to update the AHS map with @YYCCowboy but no more scrolling & surfing here.

@BogochIsaac For the love of all that's holy, larger studies aren't needed. There are plenty of studies that have already been done that show that air cleaning works. What's needed now are deployments of clean air infrastructure. Just talk to industrial hygienists and HVAC engineers.

Good study on air purification with HEPA-14 filters & acute respiratory infections in a long term care facilities. A larger study with extended follow-up is likely to demonstrate a more substantial benefit in reducing respiratory infections. tinyurl.com/4rfydfp8 by Khadar et al.

@McnallysaraMc It really helped me a lot. Pants make me feel like I'm in a straitjacket - so, I stopped wearing them. I wear skirts because they make me feel safe and comfortable, like removing tags for people who are irritated by them. When you remove the little UGH things, all else is easier.

Wow, a lot of people are leaving Twitter/X. I understand because I am being flooded here by right-wing nonsense that I didn't ask to see or care to read. Where are medicine and science people go to?

@McnallysaraMc I mean, seriously, who can rest on a hospital mattress, with things beeping all around, people coming and going, and a gaping nightgown? Home is *wonderful*. And the home care folks I've met were amazing, too!

@McnallysaraMc You rest better in your own bed, and your mind is more at ease in familiar surroundings. Home is pretty much always better than inpatient, as long as you have the meds and support needed! GLAD you are home!

Completely random question about a Canadian idiom I’ve realized not all of us use. I’ve lived across Canada so I’m not completely sure where I picked it up. I strongly suspect Saskatchewan. Who else commonly uses, or is familiar with the use of the phrase “this saft”?
