@FreakOfFaith • both have been called by Francis to work with the Vatican office, so maybe he saw something in both Tagle and Prevost as cardinals.
He seems to be always out of the spotlight and choosing to do missionary work since he’s an Augustinian priest

@AlongCameWidow || I agree, I suppose it’s maybe a small comfort that Francis named loads of Cardinals that had his ideology and views and the conclave chose Leo fairly quickly.
He must be pretty popular amongst everyone 🤷🏻♂️
