@Freakishlist @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer can't dm you without premium, sorry. And also you stated them being "Motivated by islam" as a reason why palestinian freedom was different from the american slaves, the native americans and the south africans.
English

@YZaiCreates @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer when exactly did i separate islamic extremism as being unique?
do me a favour and DM me, i feel disabled debating like this.
English

@Freakishlist @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer It's interesting that you seem to seperate islamic extremism as being somehow unique, when in practice, I don't see how it's any different to white supremacy, zionism, hindu nationalism or any other comparable element that can be found in any society.
English

@YZaiCreates @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer Do you maybe have a discord or something where we can talk with no character limit?
English

@YZaiCreates @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer What? Come on. I was almost with you until you said that. Don't close your eyes and pretend Islamic extremism isn't a big problem and a huge part of this conversation. Please, I want to know you're being genuine.
English

@YZaiCreates @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer The ANC's goal was not to ethnically cleanse south africa of white people. Hamas's goal is the destruction of Israel. Also the south africans did not have Islam motivating them... Can you at least admit the situations are very different?
English

@Freakishlist @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer In south africa in the run up to abolishing apartheid, black people outnumbered white people about 4:1. And a sizable chunk of them wanted all the white europeans gone... and yet
English

@YZaiCreates @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer You don't see the significance? Group A, which generally wants to ethnically cleanse group B, is going to outnumber group B by two fold, in a tiny plot of land. I don't know how else to get across the significance of that.
English

@Freakishlist @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer And the significance of this is? (Also i'm pretty sure during a fair chunk of the active eras of genocide against the native americans, the natives did outnumber the colonists.)
English

@YZaiCreates @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer here's a key difference: the native americans and black people were and are outnumbered by white people. palestinians, if the right to return were granted, would outnumber the jews by over two fold.
English

@Freakishlist @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer As for your "Other point" i want you to think very carefully... Do you think that there was not a significant amount of slaves who didn't want to live alongside their colonialist europeans? Same question with native americans.
English

@YZaiCreates @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer okay, that's interesting. but the point stands. the slaves in america weren't fighting for their homeland, there wasn't any religious significance to america, and they weren't being motivated by the wider black community outside america.
also you didn't address my other point.
English

@Freakishlist @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer Actually a lot of slaves were muslims, taken from muslim countries in africa, mostly north africa. That's why the guitar, particularly the moorish version, was so big in black and slave culture. It's also why melismatic vocals is so common in black music.
English

@YZaiCreates @cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer i see what you're saying, and i have thought of this before. but the slaves in america didn't have islam motivating them, along with a lot of other factors. the two situations are different.
palestinians generally do not want to share the land with zionists.
English

@cesaroncalves1 @benzaehringer Self determination, sure. But the right to return would be suicide for Israel. It's silly to expect them to agree to that.
English

@Freakishlist @benzaehringer Palestinians demands were pretty clear, right of return, right of self determination.
Israel had already killed 250 Palestinians in 2023 alone, more than 5000 held as hostages.
English

@benzaehringer alright, i'll bite. it's a funny little comic so i think it deserves some engagement.
it seems to correctly imply that israel can't afford to free the people in gaza due to safety concerns. that being the case, what ARE they supposed to do?
English

@Cyberdragunz @dril i mean yeah politics can be funny, i guess i worded that wrong. but this post is not meant to be funny and it's out of place coming from wint.
English

@Freakishlist @dril My dude look at the state of the world. We have two choices, laugh or cry. I'd rather laugh my way through.
English

@MsNyanjr @allthenastiesss @ArmandDoma i think you need to take a long look at your life and figure out where you went wrong, to get to the point of justifying child murder. i know you're trying to support palestine, and that's good. but this is not the way. be better.
