@champion_blaze @Pokemon_Labs The writing would’ve led to Alain losing anyway. He didn’t need an arc or buildup in journeys but I do agree that he shouldn’t have been thrown in at the last minute. We could’ve spent a few more episodes with him.

@FreakySatoshi @Pokemon_Labs Fans are not upset that he lost. Fans are upset at the trash writing of Journeys. We all knew whoever battled Leon would lose, so 2 people would lose to him. It’s not about what you write, but HOW it’s written which people don’t get. It was terrible execution.

THIS is how you make Alain lose with dignity & respect. He gave it his all, battled hard and went down swinging. He was boxing with Siebold going blow for blow against his Mega Blastoise. Truly a shame the writers forgot how to write like this in #PokemonJourney #anipoke
