16% VAT on fuel. That I agree is painful.

Soul ties suck, why do I still miss you after you showed me I mean nothing to you

JUST IN: EPRA has announced a sharp increase in fuel prices effective April 15. Super petrol rises by KSh 28.69 per litre, diesel by KSh 40.30, while kerosene remains unchanged. The government is using KSh 6.2 billion from the Petroleum Development Levy to cushion consumers from high international costs.

Voter turnout in Hungary was over 80%. Let he or she who has ears, hear.

JD Vance: Trump says to Iran: “If you commit to not having a nuclear weapon, we are going to make Iran economically thrive.”

Quite a loaded release on Kenya's April 15th through May 14th pump price cycle: 1. Super Petrol increases by Kes 28.69/litre to Kes 206.97 2. Diesel increases by Kes 40.30/litre to Kes 206.84 3. Price of Kerosene remains unchanged 4. Value Added Tax on Super Petrol, Kerosene & Diesel have been reduced to 13.0% from 16.0% 5. GOK plans to use Kes 6.2 billion worth of Petroleum Development Levy to smoothen out the prices

EPRA has increased fuel prices for the April 15 – May 14 cycle: — Super Petrol: +KES 28.69 (+16.1% MoM) to KES 206.97 — Diesel: +KES 40.30 (+24.2% MoM) to KES 206.84 — Kerosene: unchanged at KES 152.78 Notes: —>The adjustment tracks sharp increases in landed costs, with Petrol +41.53%, Diesel +68.72%, and Kerosene +105.15%, reflecting elevated global oil prices. —>The impact has been partially cushioned by reduced tax rates (VAT on Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene has been reduced from 16% to 13%) and stabilization under the Petroleum Development Levy.

Today, many stations will not sell fuel in the hope that tomorrow’s prices will be hiked. The fuel business is a fishy business.
