@Eman_8282 It was a way to put a stamp on a hand when you attended a teen dance. You can tell today who they were by the third-degree burn scar on the back of their hands.

Returning to "Illustras," the fictional evil department store in Mannequin (1987). This stairway where a scene was filmed was at Boscov's in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. The first version of my scene was not used in which I was chasing "Emmy" (Kim Cattrall), and "Jonathan" (Andrew McCarthy), and slammed into a shopper causing her to throw her packages in the air. Director Michael Gottlieb changed his mind and lost the hapless shopper, probably thinking it was too much. What survived for the final cut was running down the stairs, taking my timing lead from "Richards" (James Spader). It was a fun taste of "keystone cops" and no harm came to the future star of 'Sex and the City' in the making of this film. The late Meshack Taylor was a hoot., both off and on camera. I'm proud to be part of a film with prestigious actors. (my late wife Carol had a background scene, but that moment was cut.💔) #writerslife #actor #Mannequin
