I was really looking forward to the new series of The Piano on @Channel4 and watched the first episode tonight on catch-up; but it's all talking. Yes a little commentary isn't out of place, but the editing was awful, simply not enough of the competitors playing. I won't be watching any more of this series. And I'm grumpy about that because the earlier series were much better.

Watchout. I subscribed to ITV X agreed to pay £5 a month not see adverts. However their claim is very sneaky, instead of interrupting programmes with 3rd party commercial adverts .They interupt with promos of their own programmes. I think ofcom should investigate. @ITVX @ITV

6 year rule. You have to be TERRIBLY careful not to have any (perceived) contact at all.
1. Don't reply AT ALL to any correspondence by SMS, E-mai, or Snail Mail - but keep them.
2. Don't answer any phone number not in your contacts - EVER.
3. Don't cut the call off, let it expire of its own accord. (Break this rule - you've confirmed your phone number and are halfway to confirming your identity)
4. Turn your answering machine off and leave it off for the duration. In lower courts, they might get away with pleading it was contact and you won't have the money for a KC to defeat them in a higher court)
5. Don't state your name or confirm it to an unknown visitor (even if they look like a courier or whatever). Don't engage in conversation. Don't accept any document or note from them. Just say Goodbye.
6. Be aware there is a company called 'Resolve Call' which some debt collectors use illegally to contact you. Resolve Call agent will not necessarily know he/she is complicit in an offence. All they know is they won't get paid if they fail in their mission. So don't be rude to them.
7. You may receive communications stating they are starting legal proceedings. Ignore. If they do start proceedings, you will receive a letter from the Court.
Ah. Almost forgot! Never accept any letter left for you with a neighbour. Just say sorry, I don't recognise that and I don't need it. If there are any more, just trash them.

Be careful of companies chasing up very old and often forgotten debts. If the debt is over 6 years old but you acknowledge their letters by contacting them then the whole process of recovering it can be started again and they can take you to court to retrieve it.

Well, it’s official, this washed up old traffic cop has a Degree in history and religion. I am so bloody proud. I completed one module whilst receiving chemo treatment and I wrote essays hooked up to a drip. I did it mum, I did it.

The only real danger from excessive consumption of synthetic folic acid is: Unmetabolized Folic Acid (UMFA) which overwhelms the system. For most people, excess vitamins are processed by kidneys and liver and excreted through urine. (Vitamin B12 is the star performer - just a few days and the urine can be NEON YELLOW!)
However, I remain totally opposed to carpet-bombing the entire population because unintended consquences cannot be comprehensively calculated = Russian Roulette. Highly irresponsible.
Unfortunately, you also have no hard data to support your claim of widespread damage to the population.
By unsupported hyper-inflation of the risk, you are putting people off from supporting your petition.

Have you gone to the price comparison websites (compare the market et al)
Also note: many of the vehicle insurance and breakdown companies are underwritten by the same company:

Whatever, they do compete against one another.
Ways to reduce the cost:
1. Driver only.
2. Take a larger voluntary 'Excess'
3. Some companies offer a reduced price to install a 'black box' in the vehicle which continuously records its location and its behaviour. One has no knowledge of what they do with the data, especially to whom they might be selling it. There can be unfortunate consquences from this. There have been unconfirmed reports that some companies report Moving Traffic Offences.
And on a Personal Level: What you're saying to your son is that you don't trust him, you want to know everywhere he goes and whom and what he visits. That's how it looks to most teenage brains.
Is that a good return on saving some money? Unintended consquences can change lives for the worse.
