With all the statistics at our disposal in Nigeria, we have failed to get to the root of conflicts to forestall them from happening.

The margin between UK (home) and International Students’ tuition fees for MSc programs is ridiculously high. Home students: £11,250 International students: £23,500 To be paid within 12 months with scarcity of COS after your the expiration of your PWS. That’s very high💀

Too many universities are selling immigration, not education. Last year, about 250,000 foreign students took up taxpayer-funded student loans to pay for their courses in the UK, worth £4bn. This is not fair. A @reformparty_uk government will make sure that the British taxpayer is not paying for foreign students. Let’s put British students first.

The honest-to-God truth is, As it stands today, if you're in Nigeria: 1. Over 75% of university courses are absolutely useless. You're wasting life and money. Go vocational. 2. If you're in STEM, you'd be a fool to pursue postgrad in 🇳🇬 . You're wasting your life and money.

@Destiny_kayonwe This nonsense needs to stop! @PoliceNG you need to caution your officers, it’s already hard being able to afford the good things of life, the police should allow people enjoy their lives. Engine numbers are no longer required on vehicle documents.

@boye4christ2006 Your story sounds untrue because in the UK, if you break the law whether you are intentional or ignorant of breaking the law, no official of the law will ever forgive you(it's that black and white). You always always serve the consequence of breaking the law.

Japa stories Just heard a disturbing and sad 😔 story. If you’re in the UK or abroad as a student, don’t work more than 20 hours except if your visa states otherwise, even if they promise it will be cash jobs. It was indeed cash jobs. They didn’t use their NI numbers; however, they were sending the money to their bank accounts. Someone wrote to the UKVI Home Office to investigate them because there were about 12 of them working for the company. Eventually, the Home Office sent emails to each of them. The first person investigated was made a scapegoat, and his visa was cancelled for breaching UK student visa rules. He’s back in Nigeria now. Others who were investigated were pardoned because they later answered the questions well. One of them said he didn’t know it was against his visa conditions and that he hoped to continue with a PhD in the UK. The interviewer then said, “I will pardon you because I don’t want to be a hindrance to your success in this country.”

@officialABAT Bola you should resign, how incompetent can you be? Innocent lives keep being lost on daily basis and the only thing that you reluctantly say is “we will get to the root of this”, gallant soldiers lose their lives under your watch due to being ill equipped for the task.

From the reports I have received, our armed forces have been conducting sustained, intense land and air offensives against the insurgents, neutralising many terrorist fighters and commanders. The insurgents’ counterattack is a sign of desperation.   I extend my condolences to the families of our gallant soldiers, led by  Brigadier-General Oseni Omoh Braimah, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the defence of our country in Borno State.   The government will never forget their sacrifices. Their sacrifices will not be in vain. Because of the courage and dedication of our troops on the frontline, our resolve to defeat terrorism and all forms of violence across Nigeria is stronger than ever.   I urge the Military High Command and our troops in all theatres of operation: Do not lose heart, do not be weary, do not be discouraged.   Our officers and men should continue to serve with honour, courage, and patriotism. The government will always stand by the Armed Forces, provide more of the equipment needed and ensure the welfare of all who risk their lives for our safety.   I urge Nigerians and the media to continue to support our Military in their relentless battle against insurgency and banditry. We should desist from celebrating or condoning the attacks against our troops. These soldiers are our heroes; unforgettable and irreplaceable.   My condolences also go to the government and people of Borno State. The Federal Government will continue to work with the state government to achieve total victory and lasting peace. Bola Ahmed Tinubu President & Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria

The woman who married Aboy Chibuzor has been gifted a brand new car by Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, and a driver will also be appointed for them. This wasn’t part of the original arrangement, but the pastor felt concerned seeing that they didn’t have a car to attend church, so he surprised them with a brand new one 🤭

@TheOnlyKemi He took it too deep, same person would take their plate/flask to buy food using their own money or would go to some eateries and wash their plates themselves but see nothing wrong in it. You did your part, it's his loss.

Yesterday, I texted our gateman to come and collect his Easter rice. I told him to come with his plate because I had run out of takeaway packs. He replied, “Don’t worry ma.” I was a bit surprised because this is something I always do during festive periods. The only difference this time was the plate. I didn’t think much of it… Until my neighbour called me later and said the gateman reported me. He said I disrespected him, how can I ask a married man to bring a plate like a beggar just to collect food? I’m honestly still in shock. It was never that deep for me… I was just trying to share what I had. But I guess sometimes, what feels like kindness to one person… can feel like disrespect to another. Did I actually do something wrong?

A rich Nigeria family brought in this elderly woman to the uk and made her a slave for 10years, taking care of their kids, for ZERO pay. She was exploited and maltreated. This is really so sad and so heartbreaking. Why do we do this to each other? 😢 😢

This, in my opinion, is a VERY wrong take. Artemis 2 will not bring us new Nigerians from outer space. A better Constitution will help to make us change our behaviour. We are no more problematic than the people of other countries. We just lack constraints to bad behaviour.
Ayodeji Oshin@ayooshin

@DrJoeAbah Doc, a new constitution will not do us any good if we don't change our behaviour. Our constitution is not the problem. We are the problem.

As soon as the grandma tried to attack the monkey, I knew she'd be in trouble. She's lucky that there's a younger person around. You don't challenge a monkey unless you're agile.

@UgWrites It’s very easy to pass/fail the driving test in the UK, it all starts and ends with being calm, observing properly and driving safely. I do not believe examiners just set out to fail people because they usually have body cam. Serious faults happen when your driving isn’t safe.

A friend of mine just passed his UK driving test. 15 attempts. £62 each time. That’s £930 just to get a licence. And here’s the crazy part… Some of the things he failed for didn’t even make sense. What one examiner overlooks today, another will fail you for tomorrow. Same mistake. Different outcome. He questioned a few decisions, got no real explanation. So it makes you wonder… Are these tests actually consistent, or just subjective depending on who you get? Either way… Respect to him. Most people would’ve quit way earlier.
