@HarryBrighouse1 Such sad news. Tim was an inspiration to me as I started out in school leadership - I heard him speak many times and still regularly go back to his work. Always wise, incisive and engaging. He will be missed.

This is formal but here goes. The family of Sir Tim Brighouse are very sad to announce that Tim died in the John Radcliffe Hospital today after a short illness. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and a towering figure in the word of education. 1/

Caversham Primary have a new Ofsted rating. Yesterday it was ‘Inadequate’, today ‘Good’, 3.5 months ago it was ‘Outstanding’. Single word judgements are a farce. I am so proud of the school we have today but I cannot help mourning the loss of the school we had under Ruth Perry.
