Didn't think of this product -- and surely Midland Dow & Portage Central deserve consideration -- but I have no problem with Dexter making this claim. At the very least, the private schools in their way should've been Unity Christian & Divine Child and not OLSM. #ClubVsCommunity

All I did was explain (upon request) how a few of these public schools occasionally overcome the inherent advantage that private schools possess. If you haven't been following this conversation for weeks, here's my position. Love it or leave it...🤷‍♂️

@FromTheSeidline @GoetzItSold Why doesn’t dexter become an “outlier” like dewitt and Muskegon? They beat private schools all the time!! It’s not being an “outlier”, it’s having good Coaches that figure out ways to win 😂. both of those schools get kids from only their district so why isn’t dexter like them?

@FredrickShepar7 @GoetzItSold Clarkston has over 2000 students, so they have enough to overcome the disadvantage. Dewitt and Muskegon are outliers. As for the two magnet schools you mentioned, it's hard to classify them as traditional public schools.

@FromTheSeidline @GoetzItSold Matt, why don’t we see schools like Dewitt, Detroit king, Clarkston, Muskegon and Cass Tech complaining like Dexter?? Those teams would constantly beat private schools in the state championship year in and year out. Instead of complaining they coach harder and develop kids.

The community supported the development of the kids walking the halls of the schools and cheered them on. Many who watched the transformation just wanted a shirt.
