It’s always so meaningful to cheer right outside of @MSKCancerCenter's Schwartz Research Building — where the funds our runners raise go directly toward groundbreaking cancer research. 👉 Swipe through to catch the excitement from some of our incredible @nycmarathon runners!

There really are not words for what I experienced yesterday. It was physically demanding, regardless of having gone through 42 rounds of chemo and 2 major surgeries since my diagnosis, 26.2 miles is an undertaking but the NYC crowd delivered. Thank you to: * Everyone that donated - you are making an impact (we raised $31k and as a team over $177k and @FredsTeam over $9.4 million) * Those that submitted names - I was honored to have them with me and they carried me throughout the day * My family and friends who showed up to cheer me on - it was raw, emotional and boosted me right when I needed it * Everyone in NYC who made the run incredibly special - I gave high fives to anyone I could, tapped every power sign I saw and soaked in the full experience (my arm hurts...) #TeamCheckYourColon was incredible and I couldn’t have done it without you all. Liz lead us, motivated us and I cannot thank her enough. Thank you to Fred’s Team for supporting us along the way. To wrap up please remember to get your colonoscopies done and if you’re under 45 know the symptoms and educate yourself on family history. Also, if you’re over 40 make sure to get your mammograms done! Preventative care and listening to your body is essential. #GetScreened #ColonCancerAwareness #CancerSucks
