@AndrewBaydala I’m pretty sure AEW does secure a deal, they might have lost some leverage and that may reflect in the new deal but getting 52 weeks of content without having to pay the billions wwe requires is a good bargain for any media company.

Since some have asked, I have not been told directly that anything is completely done or not happening regarding any pro-wrestling for WBD/Paramount. Information regarding certain media rights would be REALLY hard to obtain at this point, given that nobody really knows who will be where in 7-8 months due to the acquisition. However, people do talk, and people do have connections. I do know Paramount loves the idea of pro-wrestling/sports entertainment being on their platforms, given the unique content provided for 52 weeks. The cost is always a major factor, and media rights for sports and pro-wrestling/entertainment have been handed out over the past couple of years at astronomical prices. Some media rights partners have started to express real concerns about whether there will be a return without diluting the product they are buying.

@JonAlba To also add, Netflix which is partnered with WWE is airing a UFC competitor mma card on their platform so why would ufc being on paramount effect aew potentially joining.

Hmph… You know I feel bad for the actual Dev team and hopefully I get my thoughts over correctly. Theres a lot of them on that team that have a serious passion for what they’re doing, have cooked. I look at the game at its core and you see dope stuff where it’s shitty is the politics and juggling act that comes with having a massive publisher, shareholders and older guys in suits who aren’t in the loop of what modern gamers want. Ringside pass isn’t bad it’s the execution, content distro and amount needs to be adjusted and separated from standard dlc. With that said there’s a lot of good people on that team who have the vision, get someone in who’s going to allow them to truly cook. You can keep blocking things, pushing bad decisions and finger pointing but would it really hurt to just give the team full autonomy on decisions for a single release and see how it goes? #WWE2K26

Man there are a shit ton of dream matches and dream rivalries that never got to happen in professional wrestling but I just sat here and rewatched the entire Cena/Rock build and it was magical man. A Rock not necessarily in his prime but not too far removed and a John Cena at the height of his most criticized feuding over who’s the greater ace of their era, shits so good

Honestly I feel like even though everyone is entitled to their own opinions, a lot of folks throw 5 stars to any match that they thought was “Pretty Good” and while there’s nothing wrong with that I feel like that’s what causes folks to lose their minds when they see someone like me give a pretty good match a 3.5-3.75

No one asked me but I think an aspect of Club WWE will be UGC thereby flipping the entire notion of “wrestling media” into an openly fan-led experience, TKO can create their own silos of online content that THEY profit from & handpick which brand friendly creators are featured.

Intermittent fasting (start eating at noon, cut it off by 6pm), eating unprocessed foods and forcing yourself to drink 100oz of water everyday will be effective. Keep it simple but be consistent.

Q you are absolutely right. It’s hard to watch. And anyone that says Roman and Cody should speak just doesn’t understand. This isn’t the nfl. In wrestling the reason talent has never been asked to renegotiate is because it’s a year round business. Talent feels like they have earned whatever number they achieved because you are travelling well over 150 days a year. You can’t compare the two sports. TKO clearly doesn’t care what it looks like. They want the salaries to look like a pyramid with Roman at the top.
