Omar+ 2 hour set at Superior Ingredients in NYC: •I thought his track selection was a bit hit or miss but he did a really good job of mixing in his own records at the right time and keeping the crowd in it. •The venue was PACKED like maybe the most filled I’ve ever seen Superior Ingredients and I swear everyone was newly 21 •Overall I thought the set was fun but there were definitely some moments that lost me. I’m curious to see what Omar+ would do with 3-4 hours as opposed to the 2 he was given.

@KetamineYamal @gilfsontussi Summit doesn’t have the stamina. Even at 49 Solomun can play 24 hours straight. Carl Cox can hold his own against Solomun. I’m not sure who will fill those shoes in the future.

@gilfsontussi I’m just saying Summit can fill his shoes in the future, he’s pushing boundaries like no other right now

John summit clearly has the production ability and track selection to possibly be the next Solomun. It’ll be interesting to see what he and his team decide for his career and image

@anniiehue Nice. You been to KDC before? It’s an old door frame and glass factory converted to concert venue. They rarely oversell and care a lot about their guests. A rarity in NYC. There’s another venue beneath it too that’s worth checking out

@ok_hardo Avant Gardner used to be on top of my list. The incense in the bathrooms were nice. Signal has nice bathrooms too. I also like Unveiled in that regard. BK Storehouse has only one portapotty that I’d consider using and I will gatekeep it until the end of my days
