A Haitian woman local public official is murdered & ur in my mentions to start a diaspora war..im getting so SICK of these ignorant FBA🇺🇸 loving 🦝’s man😤..and its one thing if their hate was limited to online trolling but its used to brand an entire ppl & has impact on irl organizing, especially outreach to the Haitian community. There’s been several events down here, I get asked my background, I say AA and get the wildest expressions lol bc there is a real history of tension b/w AA & Haitians in S. FL but FBA love to pour salt on a wound. You want to call ppl from the 1st BLACK Republic not BLACK and think you dont sound ridiculous? Just stop. For all his faults, I do appreciate Jesse Jackson for solidarity with Haiti, especially bc that is the type of internationalism I seek to embody in my own work. Just gotta drown out the foolishness 💆🏾♀️
