@holonabove I added a dependant, and stopped filling for 4 years against my cheating wife's wishes. She doesn't believe anything I tell her. So she filed the back taxes. $30,000 turned into $67,000 and the IRS was ruthless. I don't recommend it. A

@TaylorTracie76 No way that's exactly what I did. I added an extra dependant on my W4. That cost me dearly. Do you know they add penalties and interest that doubled amount owed in a short period of time.

@Juliedonuts I now have to live with my $676 a month home equity loan payment a month, to pay back taxes from 21,22,23,24, when I decided to fight the system in 2020. I had to get the IRS off my back. Original amount due was 30,000, but I owed 67 000. I thought we were close. Never again😪
