They spent your surplus to ZERO… now they’re coming back for more, without asking you. This bill: ❌ Dodges the Taxpayer Bill of Rights ❌ Raises taxes disguised as “spending” ❌ Takes more from YOU while ignoring fraud ~$1,000 per voter. ~$2,000 per family. Gone. This isn’t policy, it’s “Fees for Feels.” Colorado: you’re being taxed to feel good. 💸

🚨TODAY!!🚨 CO HB26-1322 is being heard in the Senate Judiciary Committee at 1:30pm MT! Time to show up and fight back. You can Zoom in for 2 minutes. **Your lawmakers are thumbing their noses at scotus — and at YOU — here is what this bill does: ⚠️ PARENTS CAN BE SUED This bill doesn’t just target counselors. It opens the door to lawsuits against parents — along with schools, organizations, and practices. Let that sink in: If you hire a counselor to help your child feel comfortable in their own body… you could be sued for it. ⚠️ NO STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS Most medical malpractice claims have a 2-year statute of limitations. But under this bill? There is no time limit. That means a parent, counselor, or practice could be sued decades later — 10, 20 even 50 years after the fact. At the same time, children who were physically, medically harmed and later detransitioned? Attempts to ensure justice for them keep getting killed by CO democrats. ⚠️ STACKED AGAINST DEFENDANTS This bill doesn’t just allow lawsuits — it makes them incredibly hard to defend. It lowers the standard for proving harm and shifts the burden onto the counselor (and parents) to prove they didn’t cause it. ⚠️ CHILLS & CONTROLS SPEECH Even after courts have struck down similar laws, this bill pushes forward anyway. It effectively tells counselors: You cannot express certain viewpoints — even if a patient asks for that guidance. That’s not healthcare. That’s compelled ideology. ⚠️ UNCONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT OVERREACH This is government inserting itself into deeply personal, medical, and family decisions — and punishing those who disagree. Parents’ rights are undermined. Professional judgment is silenced. ⚠️ DEFYING THE COURTS Colorado has already been told this kind of viewpoint-based restriction is unconstitutional. ❕It’s time to show up. ❕Show up for your rights. ❕Show up for your kids. Tell the legislators pushing this: WE’VE HAD ENOUGH. #share
