This isn't complicated. Step 1.Halt all migration for three years. Step 2. Deport any migrant, along with their dependents, who has committed any offence at all. Step 3. Remove all benefits, no matter how small, from all migrants. That means no allowances, no ACC, no free language instruction, nothing. Whatever you think about migration in general, there's no reason to import people who require any sort of state support. Step 4. No migrants in other than In real high skilled jobs. No Uber drivers, cleaners, curry stirrers, yoga teachers, couriers, grass clippers, mobile accessory dealers, kitchen hands, shop clerks. The dependent, the low skilled, and the scammers will mostly self-deport. We'll be left with people who can contribute and are willing and able to assimilate. After three years, we can put in place a proper controlled migration system based on New Zealand's national interests.

@USronaldcarter Trump got China to not support Iran. China got US oil to make up the shortfall. That's all that was needed... oh and the probly had a chat over how the city of London is going to get royally fucked up by the triad... US, China and Russia. You know. The countries that kill Nazis

Nobody is telling you how limited the actual results were from Trump’s China trip, despite all the photos and CEO presence. Everyone saw Musk, Huang, and Cook in Beijing. Everyone heard Trump say “fantastic trade deals.” Nobody is talking about what actually moved and what didn’t. → China agreed to buy 200 Boeing jets — below some pre-trip expectations → New dialogue board created, but no binding structural changes → Trade truce continued, but no resolution on the core economic model differences → Tech access signals given, but advanced chips remain blocked → Personal relationship improved, but Taiwan and strategic competition untouched This wasn’t a breakthrough. It was managed competition with better optics and some specific sector signals. The bigger reality is that both sides got the minimum they needed: stability and face for now, while the fundamental rivalry stays in place. Bookmark this. The real test comes in the implementation phase over the next 6–12 months. I'll keep you updated. Turn on notifications.

One reason that the Government needs to reassess the NZ Super age could be that anyone who has been in country for 10 years qualifies. So all the parents of immigrants who are pouring in will soon be a drain on it. They are not required to have contributed 1 cent!

The best breaking news! As promised, treaty references are being repealed or replaced in law. A far better solution than Seymour's treaty principles bill. NZ First keeps their promises! And to all those who said it wouldn't happen.....Pffft! #nzpol

🇳🇿The Quiet Testbed for Digital ID, Surveillance & Compulsory Control in New Zealand If your looking for a party that has actually taken legislative action, 🇳🇿 New Zealand First is your answer (they have a Member's Bill on digital ID alternatives). Long before the world debated digital identity mandates, one small island nation ran the experiment. New Zealand launched RealMe in 2013 – the world’s first government‑backed digital ID designed for both public & private sectors. It was voluntary, efficient, & widely praised. But underneath the friendly Kiwi facade, a far more significant infrastructure was being assembled. Palantir chose New Zealand for its first surveillance platform outside the United States. From 2013- 2015, Palantir’s software began integrating NZ’s health data, police information, & social services into a single, cross‑referenced intelligence framework. The reason? Small population (5 million), unified databases, & a compliant legal system. Then came Edward Snowden. His 2013 leaks revealed that NZs Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) was using XKeyscore- the NSA’s mass surveillance tool- to spy on its own citizens. A 2012 precursor had already surfaced: the illegal surveillance on kiwi citizens, by the GCSB using Five Eyes infrastructure. Domestic spying laws forbade it, but they didn't care quietly operational. x.com/i/status/20507… Why is NZ ideal ? Because it’s the perfect proving ground. Small enough to control, trusted enough to avoid scrutiny, & legally agile enough to rewrite rules behind closed doors. Peter Thiel, Palantir’s co‑founder, understood this perfectly. He became a New Zealand citizen in 2011 (after only 12 days’ residence-an exception rarely granted). When asked about the country, he said: “New Zealand is a utopia. It’s a place where the future happens first. They’re small enough to experiment, & they’re very competent.” Thiel also noted that NZs govt is uniquely suited to test new surveillance & identity technologies because it lacks the political friction of larger democracies. The logical next step A full, compulsory digital ID- an “ID inn” – The UN & WEF think we would be the ideal proving ground for everythings already built: RealMe’s infrastructure, Palantir’s analytics, & GCSB’s dragnet capabilities. For the same reasons as before-small, centralised, legally tractable - would offer a low‑risk, high‑fidelity test case for mass mandatory identification One the U16 Online compulsory ID is passed, Digital money through RBNZ set in place, & personal carbon credits required NZ could be set for a Full Social Credit System x.com/i/status/20534… x.com/i/status/20530… The world isn’t watching NZ for sheep farms anymore. It’s watching to see how far a Digital ID testbed can go before anyone notices.

I still can’t believe that the NZ Govt department has an online guide to encourage NZ business to offshore to India specifically citing the benefit of “cheap labour”. Did you think National Act and Labour believe in promoting investment ($33 billion!) in OUR own country? It’s just banana’s

UNUSUAL.. President XI JINPING applies Chinese wisdom. While walking from the reception square toward the Great Hall of the People, President XI JINPING noticed signs of fatigue on President DONALD TRUMP as they climbed the stairs. He paused calmly and began explaining details of the palace square — a diplomatic gesture that allowed his American guest to catch his breath and continue more comfortably.

The two leaders walk up the steps toward the Great Hall of the People, and midway up the staircase, President Xi took a moment to explain the design of People’s Square to his guest, President Trump.

Xi Jinping is putting on a clinic: “The whole world is watching our meeting. The International situation is turbulent. The world is at a new crossroads: Can China and the US overcome the Thucydides Trap and create a new paradigm to meet global challenges together.” The Thucydides Trap is the structural tension that occurs when a rapidly rising power (China) threatens to displace an established ruling power that is in decline (US). By mentioning the Thucydides trap, Xi Jinping is signaling that China is the new leader of the free world and what’s remarkable is, unlike the U.S., China achieved this without dropping bombs, waging endless wars, or spending $1 trillion a year on its military. Instead China became the leader of the free world by investing in its people with housing, education, health care, and the best modern infrastructure in the world, and investing in its neighbor countries through its Belt and Road Initiative, which has funded ports, railways, and energy networks across the Global South. The US became a “superpower” through endless wars, corruption, and selling out its own people to the billionaire class while China became a superpower and surpassed the US by building trade and relations with the world and investing in its people instead of wars. Americans would be wise to take note and then change our corrupt government.

The Iran Watcher 🇮🇷@TheIranWatcher

🚨 After Trump and Xi’s latest meeting, the Islamic Republic suddenly looks like a regime watching its last major lifeline slip away. Right after reports came out that China and the U.S. agreed the Strait of Hormuz needed to stay open, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi rushed out and announced the Strait was now “completely open” again. That is not confidence but a regime scrambling in panic as its leverage rapidly collapses. The Islamic Republic spent years acting like China desperately needed Iran. In reality, the relationship was always massively one-sided. U.S.-China trade is still worth over $400 billion annually even after years of tariffs, tensions, and economic rivalry. China-Iran trade is tiny by comparison, even when including shadow oil shipments and sanctions evasion. Iran’s discounted oil is useful to China, but stable economic relations with the U.S. are vastly more important to Beijing. That is the brutal reality Iran’s leadership seems to be crashing into right now. Even the heavily publicized 25-year China-Iran agreement increasingly looks less like a strategic partnership and more like a dependency arrangement where the Islamic Republic became economically beholden to Beijing while receiving far less in return than originally advertised. China gets heavily discounted oil, leverage, and access. Iran gets deeper dependence, sanctions exposure, shrinking alternatives, and an economy increasingly tied to Beijing’s calculations. And when China has to choose between a $400+ billion relationship with the U.S. or a heavily sanctioned Iran selling discounted oil through shadow networks, the answer was always obvious. For decades, the Islamic Republic relied on three big cards: ⚪️ Threatening Hormuz ⚪️ Selling cheap oil to China ⚪️ Using proxy militias and instability as leverage Now all three are weakening at once. The Islamic Republic increasingly looks like a regime that badly overestimated how important it actually was to China.
