Decades ago, Israel and Hezbollah agreed that Hezbollah would stay north of the Litani River and disarm. Instead, Hezbollah launched thousands of rockets at Israeli civilians. This war was avoidable. All they had to do was uphold the agreement they signed themselves.

Just days before October 7, Saudi Arabia was in peace talks with Israel and following in the footsteps of the UAE toward modernization. Then on October 7 Iran sabotaged the talks by unleashing its Hamas attack dogs. Suddenly Saudi Arabia abandoned its modernization project, returned to supporting the Muslim Brotherhood across the region, installed HTS in Syria, attacked the UAE, returned to its hostility toward Israel, and resumed its capitalization on the Palestinian cause. Saudi Arabia's modernization project was never motivated by ideological conviction. It was motivated by fear of a post-jihad, post-oil era. After October 7, when Islamic jihad was rebranded across the West as resistance, the Saudis realized they could return to the jihad mentality with no problem.

BREAKING: Iran's Foreign Ministry now officially confirms that no Iranian nuclear commitments and uranium handover exist or will exist in any draft agreement with the US, calling all reports that claim otherwise a "pure lie," making further talks pointless due to the US insistence on this issue. Based on that issue, the statement declares "we are not signing any agreement with the US" and "no one can claim we are close to reaching an agreement." Iran separately stated to Tasnim they are now on the verge of "cancelling" the negotiations completely.

There is no ceasefire in Lebanon. Hezbollah is attacking our troops and northern communities on an hourly basis. Israel is just restrained in how far into Lebanon it can strike in retaliation. That is unsustainable with daily death notices like this.
