@thepathphd Congrats!!! I’ve felt the same way bc I’m on an untraditional career path. The feelings that you feel are exactly why we need more representation! There’s more than one way to be a part of pathology & you are absolutely a role model for those that think research is the way to go!

TLDR: I love this field so much & being honored by ASCP for my work in brain banking is the validation this early career researcher needed.

I have a bittersweet announcement! I am leaving pediatric pathology and going back to adult pathology.
As much as I’ve enjoyed my short time in #PediPath, my commute is long and not sustainable. I have to put my work life balance first! I’ve accepted a position closer to home.

Better late than never, but I wanted to say a huge thank you to the EPIC Beaker team that helped us with our launch in May. The majority of them rotated off at the end of June (and are hopefully off to bigger and better things) but we would have been absolutely lost with you all.

The Supreme Court's recent rulings were sadly predictable for anyone who understands the hard-right agenda. Their goal has always been to install Justices whose job is to turn back the clock on our freedoms, on decades of constitutional decisions, and on our continuing struggle to “form a more perfect union” that includes all of us.
Let's vote out their political enablers and rein in the dark, subversive money that supports them in their quest to reverse a century of progress.

Not sure why people who arrived after us received their @thriftycars rentals before us. There are people late for weddings, graduations, and other planned events. What will be done?

So this is a pattern it seems…? Also waiting 2+ hours with no end in sight. Gentleman here has waited 3 1/2 hours today and still nothing. Completely unacceptable @thriftycars What will be done for customers with reservations booked months in advance??? Never again indeed!

Just arrived in BWI… @thriftycars car rental doesn’t have a car that I reserved for 2:30 and told me it would be approx 3 hours… how is that legal? I will NEVER use this company again and neither should you.

Two years ago I was sitting in the Wal-Mart parking lot and crying. I had quit my stable job and moved hours away from my family and friends to start Pathologists’ Assistant school. I was terrified. It was a big risk and I didn’t think I could do it. But I crushed it!
