We deplore the 8-month sentence for Kwok Yin-Sang, father of pro-democracy activist Anna Kwok, under Hong Kong’s national security ordinance. This case of transnational repression – targeting a family member of an activist abroad – highlights the erosion of freedoms in Hong Kong.

This week, we joined @tibetinitiative & Civil Society Forum to meet @RKiesewetter. We discussed the reality of TNR in 🇩🇪 and how to better protect our communities. Thanks to Mr. Kiesewetter for standing with us in the fight for safety and freedom! 🤝

🕯️On 06/12, we gathered w/ @HongkongerV & HKCC Berlin at Potsdamer Platz to mourn the victims of the Tai Po fire. During the vigil, we laid flowers and candles to show collective grief and solidarity. Heartfelt thanks to @tibetinitiative and @UyghurCongress for joining us.
