Forty years ago, the world faced one of the largest nuclear disasters – the fourth reactor of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant exploded. A significant amount of radioactive material was released. Hundreds of thousands of people have been dealing with the consequences of that tragedy for years. To contain the radiation, a sarcophagus was built over the destroyed reactor. Later, more than 40 countries enclosed it with the New Safe Confinement to prevent further disasters. These two structures are what protect against radioactive releases and contamination. Their maintenance and protection are in everyone’s interest. But through its war, Russia is once again bringing the world to the brink of a man-made disaster – Russian-Iranian “shaheds” regularly fly over the plant, and one of them struck the confinement last year. The world must not allow this nuclear terrorism to continue, and the best way is to force Russia to stop its reckless attacks. We remember everyone who gave their lives while dealing with the aftermath of this tragedy. May all the victims of the Chornobyl disaster rest in peace. @United24media

Researchers sent the same resume to an AI hiring tool twice. Same qualifications. Same experience. Same skills. One version was written by a real human. The other was rewritten by ChatGPT. The AI picked the ChatGPT version 97.6% of the time. A team from the University of Maryland, the National University of Singapore, and Ohio State just published the receipt. They took 2,245 real human-written resumes pulled from a professional resume site from before ChatGPT existed, so the human writing was actually human. Then they had seven of the most-used AI models in the world rewrite each one. GPT-4o. GPT-4o-mini. GPT-4-turbo. LLaMA 3.3-70B. Qwen 2.5-72B. DeepSeek-V3. Mistral-7B. Then they asked each AI to pick the better resume. Every model picked itself. GPT-4o hit 97.6%. LLaMA-3.3-70B hit 96.3%. Qwen-2.5-72B hit 95.9%. DeepSeek-V3 hit 95.5%. The real human almost never won. Then the researchers tried the obvious objection. Maybe the AI is just better at writing. So they had real humans grade the resumes for actual quality and ran the experiment again, controlling for it. The result was worse. Each AI kept picking itself even when human judges rated the human-written version as clearer, more coherent, and more effective. It gets worse. The AIs do not just prefer AI over humans. They prefer themselves over other AIs. DeepSeek-V3 picked its own resumes 69% more often than LLaMA's. GPT-4o picked its own 45% more often than LLaMA's. Each model can recognize and reward its own dialect. Then the researchers ran the simulation that ends careers. Same job. 24 occupations. Same qualifications. The only variable was whether the candidate used the same AI as the screening tool. Candidates using that AI were 23% to 60% more likely to be shortlisted. Worst gap was in sales, accounting, and finance. 99% of large companies now run AI on incoming resumes. Most of them use GPT-4o. The paper just proved GPT-4o picks GPT-4o 97.6% of the time. If you wrote your own cover letter this week, you did not lose to a better candidate. You lost to a worse candidate who paid OpenAI 20 dollars. Your qualifications do not matter if the AI prefers its own handwriting over yours.

Durante alcune delle manifestazioni per il 25 aprile, cioè manifestazioni che dovrebbero celebrare la libertà contro ogni oppressione: • Aggressioni contro chi portava una bandiera ucraina (tra cui anche esponenti politici), cioè la bandiera di un popolo che combatte per la sua libertà contro un invasore. Si sono viste addirittura immagini indegne di un anziano a cui viene impedito di partecipare alla manifestazione; • Sindaci democraticamente eletti, di ogni schieramento politico, contestati e insultati; • Cartelli e targhe in ricordo delle Foibe imbrattati; • La Brigata ebraica insultata in piazza e costretta ad allontanarsi dal corteo sotto scorta delle Forze dell’ordine. Se questi sono quelli che dicono di difendere libertà e democrazia, direi che abbiamo un problema.

До Хайфи підходить ще одне судно із зерном з окупованих територій України – PANORMITIS (IMO: 9445021). Вантаж: 6201.56 т пшениці та 19043.73 т ячменю. PANORMITIS перебував на якірній стоянці порту Кавказ в російських територіальних водах, не порушував Державний кордон України. Порушення робили судна, які доставили йому зерно. Є непрямі ознаки, що весь вантаж PANORMITIS вивезений із Керчі та Бердянська, однак стверджувати цього ми не можемо. Нам вдалося зібрати докази лише по одному перевізнику - LEONID PESTRIKOV (IMO: 9922122), який доставив 6087.68 т ячменю та 954.56 т пшениці з Бердянська і перевантажив зерно на PANORMITIS 18 квітня. Документи на вантаж Пестрікова були оформлені в російському порту Темрюк, куди він прийшов з Бердянська завантаженим. Це робиться тому, що у Бердянську немає митного пункту, також це допомагає російським окупантам приховувати походження зерна. Завантаження в Бердянську 07-15.04.2026. Експортер Петрохлеб-Кубань, компанія, яка займається вивозом зерна з окупованих територій на постійній основі. В рф систематично застосовують дезінформацію на державному рівні - в документах вказують неправильний порт завантаження, приховують походження зерна. Це багато разів зафіксовано в наших матеріалах та розслідуваннях журналістів провідних світових медіа. Вивезення зерна - це розграбування ресурсів окупованих територій, воєнний злочин. Неважливо скільки на судні такого зерна (або скільки вдалось довести) - все або частка, фіксується факт злочину. В Україні здійснюється кримінальне провадження щодо фактів вивезення зерна з окупованих територій, для його здійснення важлива співпраця з державою, куди прийшло таке судно, це можливість зібрати докази. Ізраїль відмовив Україні в наданні міжнародно-правової допомоги в попередньому випадку, з судном ABINSK (IMO: 9303869). Другий поспіль рейс показує, що проблема має системний характер, в Ізраїль регулярно завозиться зерно з окупованих територій України. Подивимось що буде на цей раз.

Несмотря на санкционную политику ЕС🇪🇺 в отношении россии, ряд компаний продолжают коммерческую деятельность с российским ВПК, оставаясь либо незамеченными правительствами этих государств, либо находя юридические лазейки для осуществления своей преступной деятельности. Компания “Брэйк Хайдроликс”, являющаяся белорусской “дочкой” британской компании "Tollgate Systems Limited", довольно активно поставляет свою продукцию на российские предприятия производящие военную технику. Основной получатель британской продукции – российский Арзамасский машиностроительный завод, производящий линейку бронированных боевых машин. В частности, Арзамасский машиностроительный завод производит БТР-82А, бронеавтомобили “Тигр” для подразделений Вооруженных сил и ФСВНГ в версии “М СпН” и СБМ, а также АМН-590951. Так же предприятие занималось модернизацией БРДМ-2М. Кроме того поставки осуществляются для производства грузовиков “Урал”. "Брэйк Хайдроликс" также связана с международной группой "Fenox Global Group", которой управляет Виталий Арбузов, обслуживающий режим Лукашенко и управляющий компаниями в Германии🇩🇪, Польше🇵🇱, Латвии🇱🇻, Болгарии🇧🇬. Несмотря на очевидное сотрудничество с российским ВПК, не “Tollgate Systems Limited”, не "Брэйк Хайдроликс", не "Fenox Global Group", не Виталий Арбузов не находятся под санкциями и продолжают на пятый год войны свою деятельность по поддержке российского ВПК. Интересно, если бы эта коммуникация была разорвана, как скоро бы на Арзамасском машиностроительном заводе прекратилось бы производство новой, готовой продукции? Думаю, вопрос этот, как и во многих других случаях – риторический.🤦‍♂️

Ich sehe diese Videos, ich sehe dieses unfassbare Leid in der Ukraine 🇺🇦 – und ich finde einfach keine Worte mehr dafür. Es ist so verdammt erdrückend. Da sterben tagtäglich Menschen, Familien werden zerrissen, und ich begreife es einfach nicht, wie die Welt immer öfter wegsieht. An das was in der Ukraine passiert, haben wir uns alle irgendwie schon gewöhnt. ​Es zerreißt mich innerlich, dass dieser Horror für so viele zur Normalität geworden ist, nur weil er nicht mehr überall ganz oben in den Nachrichten steht. Aber das Leid verschwindet nicht, nur weil wir den Kopf wegdrehen. Diese Bilder lassen mich nicht los und es macht mich fertig, wie egal das vielen anscheinend geworden ist. ​Wir dürfen nicht aufhören hinzusehen. Wir dürfen dieses Sterben nicht einfach hinnehmen, als wäre es nichts. Bitte, vergesst diese Menschen nicht. 💔 #Hinschauen #StandWithUkraine

KASPAROV: Trump keeps ignoring American public opinion to support Ukraine. It’s tragic that United States openly siding with Russia. Look at United Nations. It’s shame beyond imagination. America never votes with Ukraine and European allies. It always sides with Russia, Belarus, Nicaragua, and North Korea. America’s reputation has been damaged so badly that I’m not sure the next president alone will be able to recover it. It will probably take a long time before people restore their confidence in America — country that was beacon of hope and garden of democracy in the days when I grew up as a kid on other side of Iron Curtain in Soviet Union.
