@ShepDanellos How much do the movies lean on having read the book? I've been debating which I should try first.

Not only did it improve from Dune part 1 in every single way, it also raised the bar for sci fi in film format. The latter parts of the book were exciting to read, and the film delivered HARD

I'm going to go see Dune 2 again. I can't get over how good this movie is
