SWIFT said they were working with Consensys nine months ago and nobody cared
now 17 banks are lining up to run real transactions on it. tokenized deposits, 24/7 settlement, across rails that already touch 11,500+ institutions
what that actually means: a German client sends money to Singapore on a Saturday. bank issues a tokenized deposit, the ledger records the obligation, Singapore side credits it. final settlement happens later through the old plumbing
the payment stops waiting for banking hours to exist
that’s the whole thing. that’s what the entire tokenization pitch has been promising for years and SWIFT is quietly piloting it with the same company that builds Linea and MetaMask

Well, just holding Linea will open up further rewards opportunities, mostly in other tokens; some from Consensys and some from protocols that we are aligned with. MetaMask and Linea are cooking somETHing together to make this happen. Together we are all bootstrapping the Linea Token Economy. Holding LINEA tokens signals that you are a Linea community member and are likely engaged in productive Linea Economy activities: building, liquidity provision / staking, using, collecting, .... So if we notice, at some date in the future that you've held n LINEA tokens for m days, that just might lead to another token landing in your account. And if n and m are larger numbers your account might receive a larger reward. Rinse, repeat.

Agree with @ChairmanSelig. This is not just about crypto. It is about the shape and growth of the American and global economy and society. This is as important for America as internet and web-enabling legislation was. CLARITY Act will usher in a paradigm shift that will supercharge the global AI+decentralized protocols economy to the direct benefit of people, communities and companies of all sizes. This is about increasing the levels and breadth of financial agency and sovereignty of everyone and every org.
