We could have had 2 LEC sister teams in the NLC potentially with LR returning after LEC Versus, a Ruddy that fully commits to the league again and an ERL revitalised with interest and investment with strong ERL talent in an ecosystem that is downward spiralling. Instead we have a plat streamer competing, 3/10 teams who are not competitively viable and a catastrophe of a broadcast where 3/5 "hosts" from what I can tell have little to no direct history with League of Legends or broadcasting at all. I'm all for trying new things but what's happening in the NLC right now is an appalling joke and spits on the legacy of the brand and region. Thanks Mathias Horn, Product Manager of the NLC, you are doing God's work! May you never touch a job in esports again after the decisions you have made here.
